The Nokia API Services is not a big improvement related the points you talk about, it improves the &quot;abstraction&quot; when calling the services, but it&#039;s a nightmare when you have to solve errors. Here is an example showing how to get the location from the GPS with Nokia API Services (S60 5th Edition).
